Apprentice Blacksmith Removal<br />

<li>The apprentice blacksmith will be removed as announced after August, the 18th</li>

<li>Please make sure to spend your coins by then</li>
<li>The apprentice tokens will still be available in the Nomad Shop until the 18th but will be removed from the Samurai shop.</li>

<li>We may offer the old equipment sets via the equipment trader at a later time</li>

<li>Construction items: Barracks - Currently it is possible to use one construction recruitment item for several barracks. These items were not intended to be removed while a recruitment process is ongoing.</li>
<li>Hospital - Hospital link in the battle reports is not working correctly</li>
<li>Nomad Invasion - Players could not choose which castle to place their decoration in and it appeared in the main castle. We will fix this dialogue.</li>
<li>Messages - Players cannot cancel ignored players.</li>
<li>Hall of legends - Legendary Skill: "Five-Finger Discount" did not work properly, but we will fix it with this update. </li>
<li>Recruit - Flash error when clicking recruit button after all stacks are filled</li>

<b>What is the Nations Cup?</b><br />
The Nations Cup is the second edition of the competitive tournament between servers after the Battle of Nations. It will be an additional event to ingame invasions and Berimond. All lords and ladies of a server need to fight bravely in the Battle of Berimond, Foreign Lord, Bloodcrow, Samurai and Nomad invasions and you will be greatly rewarded for your effort on the battlefield. So, fight side by side with your server mates to prevail and be on top of the Empire universe!<br />

<b>When will this event happen and how will it work?</b><br />
<ul>
<li>The event will start on 10th of August and it will finish on 1st of September.</li>
<li>32 servers qualify for the Nations Cup and will compete with each other in a tournament structure, similar to the Football World Cup.</li>
<li>The results of your server will be calculated as an average of the points collected by the most active half of the players of your server during the Battle of Berimond or one of the invasions. So, we will consider Gallantry points for the Battle of Berimond, glory points for War of the Bloodcrows and War of the Realms, and Nomad/Samurai Points.</li>
<li>You will be able to track results by yourself checking our table exclusively created for this occasion. We will share the link to it during the first days of the Nations Cup. You will be able to find the results of each stage on the forum the day after every invasion ends (excluding weekends).</li>
</ul>
Here are the stages servers will have to go through in order to win Nations Cup:<br />
<ul>
<li><b>Group</b><b> stage</b> will be based on the results during the Battle of Berimond (<b>10th-14th of August</b>):</li>
<ul>
<li>Each server will be placed in a group with 3 other competitors. So, there will be 8 groups with 4 teams in each one. Soon we will share the results of the draw with you.</li>
<li>Only the two servers with the highest gallantry points score (Berimond) of each group will be promoted to the next stage.</li>
<li>We will take into consideration only one event during this stage, so, be sure that your server fights hard to get better rewards.</li>
</ul>
<li><b>1/8 final </b>- Nomad Invasion (<b>14th-18th of August</b>):</li>
<ul>
<li>Only 16 nations will advance to this round.</li>
<li>Each server will compete against one opposing server. The server with the higher Nomad points score at the end of the invasion will be promoted to the 1/4 final.</li>
</ul>
<li><b>1/4 final</b> - War of the Bloodcrows (<b>18th-23rd of August</b>):</li>
<ul>
<li>The 8 best servers will compete to get to the 1/2 finals on the same conditions as in the 1/8 knock-out stage.</li>
</ul>
<li><b>1/2 final</b> - Samurai Invasion (<b>23d-28th of August</b>):</li>
<ul>
<li>On this stage only 4 teams will be left and they will brawl with Samurai to get more points, to receive better rewards and, of course, to reach the final.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>FINAL </b>-  War of the Realms (<b>28th-31st of August</b>):</li>
<ul>
<li>The Foreign invasion will help us decide which of the two finalist servers will win the Nations Cup event.</li>
</ul>
</ul>
You will be able to find the results of the stage on the forum the day after every invasion ends.<br />

<b>What can I win?</b><br />
<ul>
<li>Rewards will be given only to the servers that won the stage. For example, 16 winning servers will get rewards at the end of the group stage, 8 servers will receive rewards during 1/8 final etc.</li>
<li>The value of the rewards will increase after each successful stage.</li>
<li>There will be two types of rewards:</li>
<ul>
<li>One will be given out to all players of the winning server.</li>
<li>Additional rewards will be given to the 400 best performing players of the winning server for the invasion of each particular stage.</li>

As recently announced we won’t run the Khan’s Revenge part of the Nomad Invasion event on Empire this time due to a critical bug, which would foster an unfair advantage for some players.<br />
As you know, the Khan’s Revenge mechanic is brand new and because of this, it’s closely observed to make sure it has the intended impact in the game, meaning it will take some optimisations before being perfect.<br />
Due to the decision not to run the event, we’d like to provide you an overview of the current issues we are looking into. You can expect solutions and fixes for them in our upcoming updates.<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Critical rage attack bug</li>
<ul>
<li>Some players can’t taunt a second Khan attack to their castle while the first one is still on the way, even though they earned enough rage to trigger a second attack. This would unbalance the event progression, since some players are able to run rage attacks as intended, while others can’t.</li>
</ul>
<li>Khan attack medals</li>
<ul>
<li>Several individual factors are used for the medal calculation and we’d like to rework the actual outcome in order to provide a better & more understandable gaming experience.</li>
</ul>
<li>Khan attacks</li>
<ul>
<li>The Khan attacks are quite strong and due to your recent feedback, we’d like to adjust them a bit.</li>
</ul>
<li>Defense tools</li>
<ul>
<li>The effect of defense tools is not visible, even though they’re working. We’ll also rebalance the mechanic in order to make the effect of the tools more visible.</li>
<li>Furthermore, the Plunderer's trunks should be used only in the courtyard but worked also on the walls. This behaviour was not intended and will be fixed.</li>
</ul>

exciting battle. How can the shaking hands of a weary warrior hold his 
sword and shield with a stomach filled with nothing but glory and 
victory?! We know you are always attentive to this resource and so we 
prepared a nice feature for you to avoid desertions of your troops due 
to intentional downtimes.<br />

We
 are glad to present you with one of the most requested community 
features! One of the most annoying things with downtimes is not even the
 fact you cannot enjoy our game for 30-45 minutes (though that one is 
pretty up there, we know), but the disappointment that sets in when you 
return to your castle after maintenance to find a fleeing army, 
disgruntled and unfed vagrants of the Great Kingdom. Even if you do not 
lose them to the ravages of a rumbly tummy, it always takes a lot of 
time to prepare and distribute the food you need to feed all your units 
until the downtime is over. Well this feature changes things:<br />
<ul>
<li>During our maintenance players will not lose troops due to starvation.</li>
<li>During this time your units will not consume food, but food will also not be produced in any of your locations.</li>
<li>This system will not affect the production of other resources.</li>
<li>You will now see fewer troop desertions after intentional downtimes.</li>
</ul>
<b>Disclaimer: </b>We
 would like to clarify what intentional and unintentional downtimes are.
 By intentional downtimes we rare referring to scheduled periods of time
 during which the server is deactivated to update the game, perform 
hotfixes or general maintenance. Unintentional (or unscheduled) 
downtimes happen when servers shut down due to power loss, hard drive 
crashes, bugs that limit access to the game etc. This system can only be
 applied for intentional downtimes that we are previously aware of and 
are within our control.<br />

We
 previously mentioned to you that we were aiming to increase equipment 
storage with our next update. We know it’s something you have all been 
asking for a lot and you would like to see more space in equipment 
storage as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the feature won’t be rolled 
out for you with this update, but never fear! It is still planned and we
 are doing our best to implement this change with the update after next 
one.<br />
