<li>Level 70 players will now only receive level 70 invasion camps</li>
<li>Camps below level 70 will now allow you to use more troops/tools against them (less limitations), making them easier to defeat</li>

With all the chaos and carnage of the spring nights festival, it’s time to take a breather as this week’s update will only contain a few changes and optimizations. New watchtower levels, tasty new items in the gift peddler and even a shiny new addition to the maintenance screen await; read on!<br />
<br />
<b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Gear from gifts</span></b><br />
A new shipment has arrived for the gift peddler! You can now give your alliance members a helping hand with their equipment, and help them progress faster with XP boosts. Time to toss out those rusty old blades!<br />
<ul>
<li>Equipment can be bought and gifted to your alliance members through the gift trader</li>
<li>If the player you are sending a gift to has no inventory space, the gifting will be cancelled so that no items are lost</li>
<li>There will also be XP boosts available so that you can help your friends get up to your level</li>
</ul>

<b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">New levels for the watchtower</span></b><br />
Becoming weary of stealthy attacks from your foes, your guardsmen have decided to increase their ranks and staff a larger watchtower.<br />
<ul>
<li>The watchtower will now be split into 10 levels, rather than 5</li>
<li>Each level will provide a 10% bonus to early attack detection</li>
<li>Your current watchtower level will be adapted to fit this new system (matching the bonus e.g. level 5 watchtower will automatically change to level 10)</li>
<li>If the Watchtower is currently being upgraded when the update hits, it may not automatically upgrade to the 'new' level, so if you want to take full advantage of these changes, it may be worth upgrading the tower before the update.</li>

<li>The maintenance screen will now have a button that links to the forums</li>
<li>Soldier banners for increasing XP gains will be available through the armorer</li>
<li>The attack planning screen has been optimized to display more effects</li>
<li>Some Berimond tools will now give a bonus to Gallantry Points, as well as their regular effects</li>

Brace yourselves, spring is coming! The winter winds have passed, and the Spring Nights Festival has sprouted up in the kingdom. Celebrations, prizes and of course, tonnes of brutal battles await you!<br />
<br />
<b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Spring Nights Festival has arrived!</span></b><br />
The harsh winds have settled, the frigid snow has melted, and the sun has risen once more! All of the younglings around the castle have come together to celebrate the arrival of Spring and all the joyous light and life that it brings. Take part in our recurring events during the festivities and earn some great rewards!<br />
<ul>
<li>The Spring Nights Festival is our newest long term event!</li>
<li>As with the other events, you can take part in the recurring events (Samurai, Nomads, War of the Realms and Berimond Invasion) in order to gain points</li>
<li>The more points you gain, the more rewards you’ll receive!</li>
<li>There will be new tools, troops, equipment, heroes and decorations available</li>
<li>The top ‘X’ players will receive extra special rewards, so go for gold!</li>
<li>This event will also introduce master level.</li>
</ul>

Some of the most tactically efficient lords and ladies of the realm have startled the emperor, multiple times in a row, by completely smashing the Ice Championship and the Nail Biter events. So this time he’s giving you an extra challenge….think you’re up to it?<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Once you’ve fully completed the Spring Nights Festival, and other future long-term events, you’ll be given the opportunity to do them again at the Master Level.</li>
<li>Master level will give you the same rewards as the original event, but the points required will be significantly higher</li>
<li>This gives you the chance to get multiple sets of rewards if you’re up to the challenge</li>
<li>It can be repeated, getting constantly harder as it goes on</li>
</ul>

Through the wonders of advanced gemology (it’s a thing, trust me), you can now remove those invaluable gems that you’ve already embedded into your equipment.<br />

<li>For a fee of rubies, you can now take a gem out of a piece of equipment</li>
<li>This will not destroy the gem, but will place it into your inventory</li>
<li>This allows for more flexibility in your itemization choices, and means higher level gems won’t go to waste</li>
</ul>

Adventuring in the world of Empire has its perks, but for those of you that have already been through the process, or are newly recruited to the game and want to join your alliance mates as soon as possible, we have a solution.<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>The Willow of Experience  is a new premium building, only available for construction in the main castle of the Great Empire</li>
<li>Once built, the building will grant you a bonus on ALL experience gains</li>
<li>It has multiple levels, granting a higher percentage bonus at higher levels</li>
<li>Once built, the building is indestructible (can’t be damaged in attacks, or demolished)</li>
<li>There will be a public order value attached to the building</li>
</ul>

<li>Players now have to be active in alliance events in order to receive the rewards</li>
<li>When you receive a decoration in the daily login bonus, you will now be able to choose where it goes</li>
<li>The limit of days in the daily login bonus has been set to 7. You will still receive the  best rewards continuously as the days go on, but only 7 days will be displayed.</li>

Update: Berimond invades the Great Empire!

Leopold III and Grimbert are forever reluctant to call a permanent end to their war, standing by their views that they are the rightful heir to the Berimond throne.<br />
<br />
The Emperor called for a grand ball to take place, within our Great Empire. Upon encountering each other, Grimbert and Leopold refused to let their tensions go for the evening, and now the fight for Berimond is right outside our doors! They’ve set up their camps, and the emperor needs you to send them back where they came from! Perhaps you could even earn one of the  king’s favor in the meantime….<br />

The Berimond Invasion<br />
Lion and Bear camps have been constructed all across the Great Empire as Leopold III and Grimbert continue to squabble. The Emperor would surely shine his favour upon those that help to drive them back, so arm yourselves and help send their conflict back to Berimond!<br />
<ul>
<li>There will be both an alliance and single player section of the event, running at the same time.</li>
</ul>
Single Player<br />
<ul>
<li>Lion and Bear camps will spawn across the Great Empire</li>
<li>In the single player event, attacking a specific faction’s camp will earn you reputation with the opposing faction</li>
<li>Adversely, you will lose reputation with the attacked faction</li>
<li>You will also gain gallantry points, not glory, from attacking the camps</li>
<li>As you earn reputation points, you’ll also earn rewards</li>
<li>You can earn rewards for both factions, but in order to reach the ‘Top X’ positions, you’ll have to earn a lot of reputation for one faction</li>
</ul>
Alliance<br />
<ul>
<li>The alliance version will focus instead on earning gallantry for the alliance, granting rewards when a certain amount of gallantry is earned</li>
<li>There will also be ‘Top X’ positions for this part of the event, based on the overall gallantry earned.</li>
</ul>
<div>
The actual Berimond kingdom event will <b>still be running</b>, so don't worry, this doesn't take its place.</div>

Other Changes<br />
<ul>
<li>Samurai and nomad camps will drop less coins when attacked</li>
<li>New tools that can be constructed for wood (nomads) or stone (samurai) allow you to loot more coins</li>
<li>Players level 70 and above will now be able to loot Iron from these camps</li>
<li>Berimond gallantry will now decrease on a daily basis, after earning 5000 points</li>
<li>Battle reports have received a neat little makeover, stating how grand the victory or defeat was</li>
</ul>
