<b>Additional Changes:</b><br />

<ul>
<li>It is not possible anymore to take advantage of offers that are actually not running anymore. We reworked our offer system to prevent this behavior. From now on you can only combine offers that are really active and not expired.</li>
<li>The ruby loot for robber baron castles in all kingdoms (not including fortresses) and Berimond watchtowers has been reduced by 50%. This decision is based on our thorough analysis and decreasing the outcome is a necessary change, since too much premium currency is pouring into the game. In the past, we introduced too many features where players could grind hard currency for free and we lost control over our own economy - similar to the recent wishing well changes, which were necessary for the game economy as well.<br />
This change of ruby loot will not be an isolated re-balance, and is part of a broader re-balancing plan which we are currently working on and that players will be able to experience soon. With the re-balancing, we want to provide a fairer and more compelling game experience to all our players. It will include (but not exclusively) topics such as the adjustment of prices in all our ruby vendors and provide a more streamlined progression through the game.<br />
As a company, we're behaving similarly to a country, which also needs to gain control over its own economy and currency flow. Changing the outcome is not being done in order to demotivate players, it's necessary in order to gain control over the economy again and not damage the game in the long run. Our goal is a healthier in-game economy that creates a fairer game experience for all our players, and this measure brings us a step closer to achieving this.<br />
We will continue to actively monitor data surrounding this feature change, and we may readjust the feature once the currency flow is under control.</li>
<li>The cooldown duration for the skill reset costs in the Hall of Legends has been increased from 7 to 15 days. Since our last changes (from 30 down to 7 days) in one of our previous updates, we continuously analysed our data, resulting in increasing the time a bit again.</li>
<li>The new nomad castellan <b>Armor of the Eastern Raiders</b> and the new samurai commander <b>Armor of Kiruga Yoshiro</b> will finally make their debut in the game! We <a href="https://community.goodgamestudios.com/empire/en/discussion/336510/update-new-event-mechanic-kingdom-resources-and-a-lot-more-06-07-2017" rel="nofollow">already announced</a> it in one of our previous updates but we had to postpone the release of these two types of equipment sets. You can get the set items as TopX rewards. Items from this set will rotate with every event iteration of the appropriate event.</li>

September Update - Khan's revenge changes

Firstly, we thank you for all the feedback, as well as the constructive suggestions we received about the newly developed Khan event. With the upcoming update, we’ll add some reworked mechanics, as well as adjustments and necessary bug fixes. While we think the Khan event itself offers some really cool new mechanics, we apologize for any issues you may have encountered in the first iterations of the event running in-game. Below we have listed all changes, as well as all bugfixes related to the Khan event, since it ran for the first time. </div>

<b>Medal reward calculation</b></div>

The former medal reward calculation was not player friendly and caused a lot of frustration in regards to the actual outcome of medals. We reworked the calculation and increased the overall reward, including boosters & tools, but it should result in about the same as the previous amount.</div>

<b>Defense tools</b></div>

The Khan camp defense tools were not applied as intended due to a miscalculation and this wrong behaviour will now be fixed. You should now be able to see the impact of using defense tools on your medals.</div>

In addition, due to the above mentioned medal reward calculation changes, the bonus applied by tools will be lower than initially planned. </div>

Due to a miscommunication between the game server/client the amount of received medals shown at the battle report was wrong and in upcoming events the correct value will be shown as intended at the report. </div>

The plunderers trunk vendor defense tools could be used on walls by mistake and this behavior has been changed; now they only work in the courtyard.</div>

The Khan attacks sometimes came in with a double bonus and were too hard to defend. This has been fixed and the attacks should be much easier to defend from now on.</div>

It’s possible to attack the Khan camps more often due to a random rage doubler by hitting the camps critically. This mechanic works as intended and some players are able to run chain attacks on the Khan camps - anyway, we’ll have a close look into how this mechanic is used and we’d like to get additional feedback on it. </div>

<li>As soon as you finish this quest King Eric will give you a payment doubler.</li>
<li>This means that you will receive a 100% bonus on your next ruby purchase in our shop!</li>
<li>Please keep in mind, that this payment doubler cannot be combined with an ongoing prime time.</li>

We previously mentioned to you that we were aiming to increase equipment storage with our next update. We know it’s something you have all been asking for a lot and you would like to see more space in equipment storage as soon as possible. Well, and now the part we didn’t just copy & paste from our previous patchnotes: We are happy to announce, that we will increase the equipment storage <b>from 160 to 320</b> with the upcoming update! We think this is a good value to start with and gives you plenty of room for your old and new equipment.<br />
